Mind map of the paper

I've decided to do 'Video games and Violence' as my topic of choice for the paper. I chose this topic because I think it fits in best with my interests and it is the area where I have the most knowledge. The best idea I've had for the title of my paper so far is 'The effects of violence in video games'. Very unoriginal and I'll try to think of something better in due course. I am thinking of changing it to 'The effects of violence in video games on Children' and I will probably change my title to the aforementioned but it depends if I find enough information relating to the effects of violence in video games on children. However, I will probably just end up going with a completely different title, an interesting sounding one with a bit of substance to it.

Reflection on the result of the Vark questionnaire

* Visual: 4
* Aural: 3
* Read/Write: 8
* Kinesthetic: 5

I felt the Vark questionnaire was quite interesting. I was identified as a read/write person. I didn't feel this was 100% right because I prefer to 'do' stuff to learn it. However, I do like reading and writing so it was reasonably accurate and I completely agree that I'm not an 'Aural' person as I have trouble listening to someone speak for a long period of time for example although I'm fine when listening to someone whilst having a conversation with them for example. However, it still was not what I was expecting to get, so overall I found the whole thing a bit pointless.

Learning Line

Reflection on learning

I feel my learning has been very 'mainstream'. I went from primary school where I learnt basic skills such as how to read and how to write and do simple arithmetic amongst other things, then to secondary school where I learnt some more advanced maths and English skills as well as many other things, then to college where I did a National Diploma in IT where I learnt many new computer skills; and now I'm at university doing Computer Networking. There's not much I can say about my learning really, apart from that I haven't enjoyed any of it a great deal! As well as education, I've also worked part time in Morrisons for 2 years which has been remarkably dull but has also valuable experience in the world of work and I've developed certain 'people' skills that I wouldn't have developed otherwise while working there. In other words, dealing with moaning customers!
